WILDSIDE SERVICE
Event Permitting for Public Spaces
Parks. Trails. Beaches. Boardwalks. If it's a public space, Wildside can permit it.
Race directors often underestimate how complex public space permitting can get — every municipality has its own process, its own timeline, and its own requirements. One missed form or late submission can push your event date entirely.
Wildside takes that off your plate. We handle the full permitting process on your behalf, coordinating directly with parks departments, city agencies, and local authorities across all 50 states. If you'd rather stay in control and just need expert guidance to navigate the process yourself, we do that too.
Either way, why figuring it out alone when we can save you time and stress.
SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS
We PERMIT in all 50 states
Most event management companies stop at their state border. Wildside doesn't. We handle permitting nationwide — all 50 states. Florida, New York, Texas, California, anywhere, we can make it happen.
THE PROCESS
1. Scope & Timeline Review — We start by understanding your event, location, expected attendance, date, and any special requirements. From there we identify exactly which permits are needed and map out the submission timeline.
2. Application & Coordination — We prepare and submit permit applications on your behalf, follow up with the relevant agencies, and handle any back-and-forth until approval is secured.
3. Compliance & Documentation — Once approved, we make sure you have everything documented and in hand before race day, insurance requirements, site agreements, conditions of use, all of it.
FAQs ON OUR SERVICES
How early do I need to start the permitting process?
90 days is the minimum we'll work with — and that's tight. For most events we recommend starting 6 months to a year out. Public agencies move slowly, and popular parks and spaces book up fast. The earlier you start, the more options you have.
What kinds of public spaces can you permit?
Parks, trails, beaches, boardwalks, greenways, plazas — if it's a public space, we've either permitted it or know how to. We work in all 50 states.
What if I just need help, not full coordination?
We offer guidance-only engagements for race directors who want to manage the process themselves but need an expert in their corner. We'll walk you through what's required, review your submissions, and flag anything that could slow you down.
