WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- You run for the Everglades. Every dollar fuels the Everglades Foundation — the org leading the restoration and protection of America's River of Grass through science, advocacy, and education. You're not running for swag. You're running so Florida still has an Everglades to run through.
- Hosted by American Heritage Schools. This isn't a generic charity 5K. It's a school-led, community-powered event built on environmental stewardship — bringing AHS families, students, and Everglades enthusiasts together for a cause that defines South Florida.
- Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park sets the stage. One of Boca's largest regional parks — wide-open trails, family-friendly course, easy parking. Lace up at 8:00 AM and you're done before South Florida heats up.
- Open to everyone, built for the whole family. American Heritage families, community members, weekend warriors, first-time 5K-ers. Bring the kids, bring the friends, bring the dog. It's a morning of fitness, fun, and impact.
