WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- You run through an active limestone quarry. Yeah. A real, working CEMEX rock quarry. Limestone underfoot, towering quarry walls, massive industrial machinery on every side. No other course in South Florida even comes close.
- Up-close views of Haul Trucks, Loaders, and Draglines. This isn't a sidewalk 5K. You're racing past industrial equipment most people only see in documentaries. Bring the camera — these are once-a-year photos.
- Pick your distance — 5K or 10K. Same 7:30 AM start at the CEMEX FEC Quarry. Take the 5K and soak it in or step up to the 10K for double the quarry. Student divisions available for both.
- You run for Castaways Against Cancer. All proceeds benefit Castaways Against Cancer — a nonprofit raising funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. The wildest course in Miami, fueling the fight that matters most.
