WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- It's a "Race Down the Beach" — literally. Start line on A1A right at Deerfield Beach. The Atlantic on one side, the sunrise lighting the way. No prettier course in Broward.
- Pick your distance — 5K or 5 Miler. Same morning, same beachfront start. Take the 5K with the family or step up to the 5 Miler if you're chasing a longer effort.
- Over 1,000 participants. One of the biggest in the tri-county. This isn't a small turnout. Dunn's Run pulls real crowds — the kind of energy that gets you across the line faster than you planned.
- Every dollar fuels the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. You're not running for a medal. You're running for the kids of Broward — funding club programs, mentorship, and after-school work that changes lives. Built-in Kids Fun Run at 9 AM keeps the whole family in the day.
RACE HISTORY
Now in its 29th year, Dunn's Run has become known as the race that signifies the start of the running season in South Florida — nearly three decades of the community gathering on Deerfield Beach every January to "Run for Jim" and fuel the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, the kids' programs at the heart of the mission.
