WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- You start at Amerant Bank Arena — home of the back-to-back Stanley Cup champion Panthers. Most charity 5Ks happen in parking lots. This one happens at the home rink of one of the most decorated teams in pro hockey. Built different.
- Run for the veterans and first responders who protect your community. The Service & Sacrifice 5K is the Panthers Foundation's official tribute to the military and first responders — one of the foundation's four core pillars. Every step honors someone who serves.
- "Honor Your Hero" course signs. Raise $250 and an Honor Your Hero sign with your hero's name goes up on the course. Run past it. Photograph it. Make the tribute real.
- Fundraise and earn Panthers gear. $100 unlocks Panthers home game tickets. $250 unlocks a signed mystery puck. $500 gets your registration refunded. $750 unlocks a Panthers military-themed hat. $1,000 unlocks a blank Panthers jersey. Run with purpose, walk away with hardware.
RACE HISTORY
he Florida Panthers Service & Sacrifice 5K is the inaugural event of the Panthers Foundation's salute to the military — a brand-new tradition launched in 2026 to honor the veterans and first responders who protect, serve, and support South Florida every day, with the home of the back-to-back Stanley Cup champions as the start line.
