WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- You run in honor of Krista-Marie — and for kids on the spectrum. This race is held in memory of Krista-Marie, whose unconditional love inspired her family to found the KM Love Fund. Every dollar raised funds education and therapy for children diagnosed with Autism. April is Autism Awareness Month. This race is the heart of it.
- It's pet-friendly with a Costume Contest. Bring your dog. Wear your costume. Win the contest. Most charity 5Ks pick one — this one says yes to both, and the morning's better for it.
- A Kids LOVE Dash for every age. Ages 2–10 get their own race after the 5K, broken down by distance — 25m for the littles, all the way up to a 400m quarter-mile for ages 8–10. Every registered kid takes home an inspired finisher medal.
- C.B. Smith Park trails set the scene. A 5K winding through trails embraced by tall, beautiful trees. Cross the line and you're handed a smile, a bottle of water, and a heartwarming medal (first 500 finishers). Free shirts for the first 500 at packet pickup too.
