WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- You run the Final Mile of Fallen Heroes. The last mile is lined with photos of fallen service members, submitted by their families. You don't just finish — you finish surrounded by the people this day is for.
- One of the fastest 5Ks in the country. Nearly four decades of tradition on a course that's drawn the who's-who of American running. Come chase a PR where the fast ones come to compete.
- Your entry puts on a free race for the troops. Funds go toward a full-production 5K for soldiers at SOUTHCOM — timing, shirts, medals, music, all free for them.
- A made-in-the-USA medal that actually means something. Sourced stateside to keep American jobs strong, with a design built around the soldier's boot-print and the branches that protect us.
