WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- It kicks off your New Year the right way. Resolutions are easy to break. Pinning a bib is harder. Lace up January 11th at Miramar Regional Park and start the year on your feet — not the couch.
- It's hosted by the city itself. Hosted by Miramar Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers and the City of Miramar. This isn't some random 5K — it's a community-wide event your local government built for you.
- $25, in and out. Cheapest start to the year you'll find. Doors open 5 AM, race goes off at 7 AM. You're back home before the sun's serious about Saturday.
- Miramar Regional Park is the spot. Wide-open course, family-friendly, easy parking. Bring the kids, bring the parents, bring the friend who keeps saying "this is my year." Now they have to prove it.
RACE HISTORY
The New Year / New Me 5K is the City of Miramar's official start-of-the-year tradition, hosted by Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers as a way to bring the community together at Miramar Regional Park each January — turning every resident's resolution into a real start line.
