WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- It's free. No catch. $0 entry. Hosted by the City of North Miami Beach as a community event open to all ages and fitness levels. There is no cheaper start line in South Florida — and the cause is the kind you want to show up for.
- Run for the American Heart Association. This isn't just a city event. It supports heart-health awareness and fundraising for the AHA. You're moving your body to help save someone else's.
- Pick your pace — timed or untimed. Same 9 AM start. Chase a result with the timed 5K or stroll it with the family on the untimed walk. Both 100% free, both 100% welcome.
- Health and wellness vendors at the finish. Free screenings, resources, vendor booths, and activities for every age. This is a half-day community wellness event with a 5K at the heart of it — built for the whole family to leave healthier than they showed up.
RACE HISTORY
Now in its 12th year, the City of North Miami Beach Heart Health Walk 5K has become one of the region's most accessible community wellness events — a free, family-friendly morning at Senator Gwen Margolis Amphitheater that brings residents and partners together every February to promote heart health and fund the American Heart Association.
