WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- It's the only race tied to the Capital One Orange Bowl. The Orange Bowl is a college football institution. This is its official 5K/10K — wear your college colors, rep your team, run South Beach. There's no other race in Miami with that DNA.
- You run South Beach. Oceanfront the whole way. Start at South Pointe Park and loop the most iconic stretch of beach in the country — Atlantic on one side, the South Beach skyline on the other. Other races talk about scenic views. This one is the view.
- Pick your distance — 5K or 10K. Plus a free Kids Dash. Casual runner? Take the 5K. Chasing a serious effort? 10K. Bringing the family? Kids 12 and under run free. Age groups stretch from 9-and-under all the way to 80-and-over.
- You fund Orange Bowl Cares. Proceeds back the Orange Bowl's community work — educational programs, scholarships, and renovation of local South Florida parks. Every entry pushes the mission forward. Post-race refreshments (21+) and live music waiting at the line.
RACE HISTORY
The Orange Bowl Beach Run started in 2019 as a 5K and has grown into one of South Florida's most spirited December traditions — a 5K and 10K on South Beach where runners rep their college colors and every entry fuels Orange Bowl Cares' work across local parks, schools, and community programs.
