The Special Olympics Florida Race for Champions is a statewide 5K campaign inspired by Sallarulo's Race for Champions in Broward County — a 20-plus-year tradition that has raised millions to support Special Olympics Florida athletes. Now expanded into a statewide series across Jacksonville, Orlando, Gainesville, and Miami, the Race for Champions brings the same spirit of unity, determination, and respect to communities across Florida — proving that every step, in every city, builds a world where every individual is valued, celebrated, and given the chance to shine.
