WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE
- You run for Ukraine. Every dollar goes directly to the cause. Razom — Ukrainian for "together" — is more than the race name. Participant donations support Ukraine directly. You're not running for a medal. You're running so a country can keep standing.
- Two anniversaries. One start line. 2026 marks 35 years of Ukraine's independence and 250 years of America's. This year's race is a once-in-a-lifetime crossover — Ukrainian and American flags side-by-side on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.
- Founded and organized by an Olympic champion. Nelya Neporadna — Ukrainian Olympian and World & European Track & Field Champion — built this race herself. Few 5Ks in the country are run by someone who's stood on a world podium.
- It's a 5K and a full cultural festival. Run the scenic course along the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, then stay for traditional Ukrainian cuisine, live music, folk dance showcases, and an embroidery exhibition. Every participant gets a commemorative medal, event tee, finisher certificate, and a seat at the celebration.
RACE HISTORY
Now in its 5th year, Razom Run 5K was founded by Ukrainian Olympian Nelya Neporadna to unite the South Florida community in support of Ukraine — a Hollywood Beach Broadwalk tradition celebrating freedom, culture, and the strength of two nations marking their independence side by side every August.
