WHAT MAKES THIS RACE UNIQUE

  • You run for the seniors who used to run for you. Every dollar fuels Heart2Heart Outreach's C.A.R.E. Program — Connect, Advocate, Respond, Engage. Volunteers showing up for lonely seniors living alone at home or in nursing facilities across South Florida. Your entry funds food deliveries, care visits, transportation, and emotional support for vulnerable seniors. You're not running for a tee. You're running so a grandparent doesn't spend their day in silence.

  • Built for the whole family — including the grandkids. 5K Run/Walk at 7 AM and a Kids Dash at 8 AM  for ages 10 and under. Bring the parents, bring the kids, bring the grandparents. Every generation gets a start line — the whole point of a Gran Run.

  • First 200 get the gear. The first 200 participants take home a race tee and commemorative medal. After that, you're running for the cause without the swag. Register early or don't ask where the gear went.

  • Top 3 in every category. This isn't a podium chase, but if you've got speed, medals go to the top 3 winners in each category. Run for the seniors. Walk for the cause. Compete if you want. All three work.

RACE HISTORY

Held each year at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek, the race fuels the C.A.R.E. Program's work mobilizing volunteers to connect, advocate, respond, and engage lonely seniors across the tri-county area.
